Plastic
Revolutions was founded in 1991, as a company that designed,
and built processing equipment for the rapidly growing plastic
recycling industry. We continue to work with the machinery
today, but our primary focus is on grinding and washing plastic.
Our company has invested significantly over the years in long-term
capital improvements to be more vertically integrated to optimize
our capabilities, and future business opportunities.

In
1997 we expanded our business by adding an extruder to manufacture
our new plastic "Safety Stop"; which is an environmentally
superior replacement for concrete parking stops. In 1999 we
installed a wastewater pre-treatment system to clean our dirty
process water before we discharge it to the City of Reidsville,
and we added three new loading docks. In 2000 we added a full-time
lab technician for the quality control of our incoming and outgoing
loads.
We presently operate out of a 200,000 square foot renovated
textile mill in downtown Reidsville. North Carolina, and have
been able to utilize most of the building for recycling. We
have also maintained our machine shop, and related tools, to
allow us to repair the majority of our equipment in house. |
